Have you gone through a major life change? Taken on a new job? A new role in your community? Recently moved? Are you interested in exploring some deeper questions about life? Do you feel like it would be helpful to examine your life? To make sure that you are living and loving the best life for you?

I help good people who are experiencing mental struggles rebuild and rediscover themselves. Using a calm and understanding presence, I use an eclectic approach to help my clients identify the source of their distress, explore a range of different coping skills to eventually find a healthier way to approach whatever is causing their mental distress. Iwork in general from an person-centered approach, where I coach the client through the process of exploring what their motivations are and what is blocking them from achieving their best life.

I believe that my clients are the experts on themselves. However, sometimes we get bogged down by the messages that, society, our families, our friends and neighbors are sending us, that we lose sight of what we really want. We become burdened by our “shoulds” “musts” “responsibilities” and “obligations.” Working with me, we will set about the task of figuring out what your original motivation is. I will create a safe space where you can take the lead and allow yourself to take some space and figure out what it is that you really want and how to go about and get it.

This type of therapy will be person-centered and focused on the relationship between the therapist and client. While I may reach into my proverbial toolbox and use some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques if we come across some triggers for anxiety, depression, distorted thinking, etc, but mostly we will take the time that you need to coach and guide you into living a more authentic life.

We all deserve to be the best versions of ourselves. Fear should never get to control us. Call me and set up a time to take a step to becoming the YOU that you have always wanted to be.
